La Carterie is thought of as an open art library, halfway between a place of inspiration and a sensitive store. We take the time to leaf through, to observe, to stop at an image. The photographs tell the story of Paris with poetry, in a spirit closely linked to Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

The works presented honor Parisian photographers, chosen for their unique look at the daily life and elegance of the city. The first two invited artists, Maxime Moreno and Kate Devine, each offer their vision of Paris, between urban scenes and suspended moments.
